Jessica Martindale, MS LMFT #146028
As a therapist, I believe you are more than what you do. And, I tend to work well with people who can get lost in the doing...the high performers, the over functioners, the creatives and leaders. I help people reconnect (or connect for the first time) to themselves through using Experiential Modalities. I find this supports those who are good at telling their story, actually connect to their experience of it...moving from the mind to the body & soul. I work to explore and nurture the parts of self that have been neglected, pushed and misunderstood. I pay attention to the body. I also use nature, ritual and mindfulness as invaluable tools in the journey that is this healing work.
I work with: Individual Adults, Couples and Family Systems (this can include family of choice and work family)
I can meet you: weekly, as needed and/or for immersive therapeutic experiences. I enjoy working creatively, so am open to meeting for extended sessions (90 minutes to several hours) and day or multi-day intensives. (Exploration of fit is required for immersive experiences)
Special interest in: life transitions, creative blocks, difficulty in decision making, grief and loss, traumatic and confusing childhoods, existentialism, therapy for healers

Extensive training in: Experiential Therapy and Psychodrama Therapy
Level II Restoration Therapy (this modality focuses on organizing the human experience and looks at relationships standing on the pillars of safety and love)
